Philly DoGooder

We approached the founders of DoGooder National about launching the first ever local version of the Non Profit Video Awards traditionally hosted by YouTube.  For some reason, they said yes! We adapted the crowd voting challenge to activate over 130,000 Philadelphians, raised over $250,000 in corporate skilled resources and elevated the importance of video storytelling for 90+ nonprofits.  In its first year, according to the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey, Philly DoGooder became the single largest skilled volunteer program in the city’s history.  Philly DoGooder culminated in a citywide party, with over 400+ people in attendance from all sectors such as fashion, music, arts, nonprofit, government, banking and more.
