In her role at Here’s My Chance, Lansie leads the agency’s external communication strategy and builds new community partnerships. Since 2010, she has worked as a fundraising and marketing professional in a variety of Philadelphia-based arts, culture, and youth education nonprofit organizations. Her areas of expertise include communication strategy, story telling, social media marketing, fund development, and community outreach. She is an award-winning storyteller and often sought after to present to groups and businesses.
She is also the founder of Philly Give & Get, a volunteer-run organization that promotes nonprofit partners and raises funds to support them via live-auction events in the Greater Philadelphia Area. For her work with Philly Give & Get, she was selected as a 2013 Social Impact Fellow by the University of Pennsylvania and awarded third place at the 2013 Mobilize.org ReGenerate Philly Summit.
Before receiving her M.S. in Leadership for Social Change from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Social Policy and Practice, she completed an AmeriCorps Year of Service in Providence, Rhode Island where she was an art instructor at an innovative charter school. Previous to that, she graduated summa cum laude from Rutgers University and worked at an Indian NGO in New Delhi.
An active supporter of the arts, Lansie is a trustee of the Charlotte Cushman Foundation, and a member of the Curtis Crescendo Club, the Spruce Foundation, and the Free Library of Philadelphia Foundation’s Raven Society.Google+
